At KNEX Technology, an Oracle-focused consulting firm, I support the Marketing team in building digital presence, optimizing website SEO, and crafting social media content. This ongoing internship has allowed me to develop both creative and analytical skills, from content strategy to competitive research.
Digital Content Highlights
When I joined KNEX, the company’s website had little to no SEO strategy in place. Using WordPress and Yoast SEO, I conducted a full audit and optimized 35+ pages across the site. This included restructuring metadata, adding outbound and internal links, improving keyword density, and crafting tailored meta descriptions. Instead of relying on generic or accidental keywords, I implemented a product- and service-first keyword strategy (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud onboarding, EPM reporting migration), aligning KNEX’s content with what potential clients were actually searching for.
The result was a measurable jump in Yoast SEO scores (from red to green across most pages) and stronger positioning against larger competitors. These changes helped KNEX increase visibility on high-intent Oracle-related terms, driving incremental growth in website traffic and brand discoverability.
SEO & Website Optimization (WordPress + Yoast)
Example of Implementation
Before SEO Optimization
Yoast SEO analysis rated this page as ‘Needs Improvement’ due to lack of keyphrases, internal links, and alt text.
After SEO Optimization
Fully optimized with Yoast SEO, all 18 checks passed, including metadata, keywords, internal links, and content length
After optimizing 35+ KNEX web pages and posts in WordPress with Yoast SEO software, organic traffic share grew and Oracle-specific keywords began driving new visitors to the site.
